Monkey Island in the middle of the River

Investment Opportunities Abound

Everywhere we go...we are looking at real estate. Although we are happy in Twin, it is always fun to look at what is out there in this great land of ours. We were very interested in this parcel but when we pulled our boat in to take a look, it was obvious that it was already taken!

Enjoying the Rivers in Florida

Fresh water spring keeps these waters 72 degrees year round. The water was crystal clear.

Swimming with the Mantatee

We are venturing down the gulf side of Florida, spending time in Crystal River. The mantatees winter here. We rented a boat and took it up an inlet to find where a large grouping of mantatees rest. The fish and game allow people to get into the waters and swim with these large mammals. The are extreme docile...
We explored the Homoassas River, seeing many birds, beautiful houses, fun canals that feed off of the river.

Destin, Florida

It wasn't real warm...but warmer than Idaho! The sand is so white, the water so blue. We walked for miles and saw very few people. We beat college spring vacation!

Remember the Alamo

Just outside of Bracketville is the original movie set that was built and financed by John Wayne for the movie The Alamo that was filmed in 1959. It took 2 years to complete...the mission and town are on this site. We had a great time touring all of the buildings which have been used for multiple films, commercials, music videos. The town scenes from Lonesome Dove were filmed here.

Gobble Gobble

Why did the turkey cross the road? To try to find Sulli!
