Bracketville, Texas

Returned to a spot in Texas, Fort Clark Springs that we visited last year. This is an old Fort site that has been purchased by a private group. The barracks are being converted into private duplexes, officers quarters restored and bought as individual houses. There are multiple loops (company A etc.) where lots are being sold and houses, mobile homes are being errected. There are miles and miles of trails for biking or hikes. We had a surprise visit from John and Rose Devine...Doug and John were partners in building in Twin Falls. They arrived at the same park so we had fun playing golf and sharing a dinner together. Lots of deer and turkeys roam the grounds. Enjoyed a pancake breakfast with the residents of Fort Clark Springs.
