Blue Sky Day

This is the pier on goose island that is at minimum a 1/4 of a mile long. Very shallow water, lots of fish, oysters, and sea birds. This was our day without wind and it was fabulous! Spent alot of time on our bikes touring the area, the bird sanctuary and wildlife habitat. Lots of back wood trails. The bird watchers were waiting with baited breath for the return of the male painted bunting! (the female had returned but no siting of the male!) Really was alot of fun getting to understand the excitement of bird watching. We had our binnoculars on always!
