We started our fall trip with our first night spent in Green River, Utah. We stayed in a State Park that just happened to have a 9 hole golf course! Imagine that. Well...Doug and I played 9 holes on Wed. afternoon and then got up early on Thursday to tackle the course again. Yes...we are kinda addicted. We left for Chaco Canyon and ended up staying in the parking lot of Nageezi, New Mexico's senior center. OK...this town consists of a Post Office, the senior center, and a small gas station/convenience store. We spent two days hiking and exploring the pueblos that were built by an amazing group of people. These pueblos can cover up to 3 acres! Walls are 3-5 stories high! We did have rain so our days were cut short...back to the RV by 4:00. We are now in Chama, New Mexico. Just returned from riding the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. This is a small gauge RR built by the Rio Grande RR in 1881. I will try to post pictures. We are off tomorrow (October 7th) for Albuquerque and the Balloon Fiesta.
